Kuwait Airways is activity recruiting for the position of Mechanic "A" Aircraft Maintenance in the Engineering department. In this role your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Basic Function and Scope:
Carries out a variety of skilled maintenance work on aircraft in hangar. Includes removing, checking, testing, repairing and replacing/reassembling components, etc., under the supervision of an Engineer.

Carries out a variety of skilled maintenance work on aircraft in hangar. Includes removing, checking, testing, repairing and replacing/reassembling components, etc., under the supervision of an Engineer.
Tasks and Duties :
a. Under the supervision of an Engineer removes components and carries out installations, etc., within the aircraft. Checks the condition of such items to determine the nature of required repairs. May provide information to less experienced Mechanics on practical application of craft skill as directed.
b. Carries out repairs to component as required using a variety of hand tools including spanners, wrenches, screwdrivers etc.
c. Replaces components and checks to ensure that the repair has been properly effected.
d. Liaises with stores staff to obtain supplies, materials, tools and testing equipment as required.
e. Participates in the towing of aircraft into and out of the hangar to ensure safety of passage.
f. Stands by fire extinguishers during engine running checks. Takes immediate action in case of emergency .
g. Carries out other similar or related duties such as checking hangar cleanliness, hangar equipment, combi equipment and passenger and cargo configuration equipment.
Requirements
4 years maintenance experience on aircraft.
